It would be nice if the NYT actually reported Trump's rhetoric instead of ignoring it and or cleaning it up.

My guess this doesn't even get a front page mention - meanwhile a News Analysis piece predicting why Hasidic Trans Dockworkers may be breaking against Harris

Is this the most recent example of what @Salvy was saying how Trump takes the high road?

    Tucson Sentinel:

Latter-day Saints in Az break with Trump on immigration, which could help Harris

“I think immigration is actually a huge factor there. Immigration issues hit a little differently for Latter-day Saint voters,” said Rob Taber, the national director for Latter-day Saints for Harris-Walz.

Taber remembers seeing staunchly Republican families bringing their children in strollers to protest Trump’s 2017 travel ban – which restricted people from predominantly Muslim countries from coming to the United States – “because they felt that strongly about it.”

LDS voters differ from other religious groups in their progressive stance on immigration. It’s an outlook informed by growing up in the church where young people are sent as missionaries abroad, an experience that increases tolerance for undocumented immigrants, according to a 2020 academic study.

Non-Trumpers reaching outing to the Bro crowd ...

    mlive:

University of Michigan grad hopes ads on p*rn sites will deter Trump voters

The 10-second advertisement reads: “Trump’s Project 2025 will ban p*rn. Enjoy while you can.” Nowinski hopes this reaches a certain type of Trump voter willing to break off over certain policies.

Harris leads with the margin of error, so this is still a tossup.

When Harris outperforms the polls you're going to see a lot of news analysis dopes saying "wow how did the news poll horse race industry miss this!" as they spend all day long tapping out messages on a white suprmacist/crypto/MAGA disinformation site

    Still looking.

Do you think Trump saw anything but a hot young blonde here? This chick may be ‘intelligent’ compared to her peers at the country club, but I read about her and in addition to hitting the genetic jackpot, she hasn’t struggled a day in her life. Kudos for her sports achievements but her road was paved for her.

To me, strength is overcoming adversity. Intelligence is objective thinking. I don’t see a lot of that here with a cookie cutter GOP blonde who is toeing the party lines and rhetoric.

Show me a woman who has been through some real **** to come out the other side better for it standing next to Trump.

We know why you love Trump. Neither one of you pay your debts. That is why the orange clown had to have his "rally" at the Albuquerque airport yesterday. They wouldn't let him use the arena because he still owes the city over 400,000 dollars.

This is Trump posturing himself as an anti-war candidate and adopting the rhetoric of anti-war folks who ask how these war hawks would like it if their life was on the line instead when carrying out these wars.

Is he intentionally evoking imagery of his political opponents being shot at as red meat for his supporters? Could be. I don’t see it as a real threat that he will have them shot.

I think she wins too, but man is it gonna be razor thin. Hell, whatever, as long as she wins.

It's going to be close which will make it easier to put roadblocks up in the post election. The type of stuff we saw in 2020 could be worse this year.

It will probably be weeks until the election is definitively called. Pretty sure Trump will be declaring victory immediately, like in 2020, regardless of what happens.

Trump might be too busy dropping nuclear bombs on hurricanes?

    For the subtle challenge:
Trump says out loud in public a bunch of crazy ass ****. We know that as POTUS the adults in the room prevented Trump from following through on the most craziest of his ideas. The bottomline is that Trump is not very smart but thinks he is the world's smartest man. Complete delusion.

A Trump second term will not benefit from the adults in the room. And there is a non-zero chance that Trump's dementia will take the wheel in a second term, to go along with Trump's builtin lack of responsibility of all his ****ups should turn the country into a dumpster fire.

Anybody who can think critically sees this. The top %1 who are jonesing for a tax break are crossing their fingers and hoping for the best.

Our constitution needs a serious overhaul to prevent these dictators from doing awful things, like dropping nukes on hurricanes, start global nuclear war with N Korea and yeah blah blah blah fear monger, b****, moan .... well you get the point.

Another election. Another year. Same ****. Nothing changes. And when our government does overreach, partisan voters on both sides dutiful lockstep in unison to trample on our rights, nod and make no voting changes (see Patriot Act). Party over country, red or blue.

LOL, like I said it would be nice if tne NYT actually reported Trump's rhetoric instead of ignoring it or clearing it up.

Trump got up on stage last night Tucker Himmler-Goebbels-Carlson and promised to execute his enemy, Liz Cheney, by firing squad.

Headline: Trump Promises to Execute Political Opponent, Cheney, by Firing Squad

This isn't the first time - he is a big fan of Federal Governemtn Firing Squads. Sick ****.

How does the NYT sanitize it?

Trump Attacks Liz Cheney Using Violent War Imagery
