Trump then does a photo op / PR stunt, where he gets in a garbage truck and takes questions. Do you know garbage trucks are good for? Taking garbage (Puerto Ricans) to the dump (Puerto Rico). Of course, Trump thinks that he was the best POTUS for the Puerto Ricans, ever. Nevermind, Trump tries to trade Puerto Rico for Greenland.

Given how close this election is I think it is a given that if it looks like Kamala Harris is going to win we are going to see a lot of attempts to nullify the elections by state officials and legislatures. GA, WI, NC and AZ are going to be key states to watch and if it looks like Harris is winning them there will be attempts by election boards to not certify their own elections and I expect them to try to put up their own electors not decided by votes but by the State Republican parties and or legislatures. There is going to be mass protests and I think there is a high possibility of violence.

There will be attempts but I'm confident they will fail. There were attempts in 2020 and they failed. I know we like dwelling on the Jan 6 attacks on the Capitol, but ultimately the system prevented Trump from declaring himself a winner. We weren't even close to things going the opposite direction. I know Democrats love stating that democracy almost died that day but I find that to be quite an exaggeration. Mike Pence proved to be a believer in democracy and in the Republic and upheld his position of power. Sure, we will have the idiot congress members like MTG that will make the process more difficult and of course, we will have idiot protesters trying to stop the count, but democracy will prevail. I definitely take seriously the issues caused by DJT and I think it should be a wake up call to all of us that democracy is delicate, but despite isolated incidents, I think we will be fine.
