No I think Trump said that. People like us said we are banking on our multi-century institutions of checks and balances to make sure a fascist administration doesn't end our democracy. Obviously the recent rulings by Scouts has is sweating a bit but not sweating enough to be worried at a level to commit violence.
I can't believe the new right wing talking point is "leftists aren't rioting and mass murdering. Ha that means Trump isn't Hitler!". Like that is the type of rhetoric these clowns have been reduced to.
Fascinating. All the rhetoric around Hitler, Nazis, end of democracy, no more elections etc etc etc. Now its, “Ok, see y’all next election” lol - lmao even.
If they really believed Trump was as horrible as they said, they should. But, obviously, it was all bluster.
Hmm let's review our work. Can you explain with sentences my premises in regards to not believing violence is the answer to our country electing a candidate that says Nazi style rhetoric? Explain what my reasoning is. Explain the concerns I expressed. I want you to show me you read replies to you that attempt to answer your questions or talking points.
Ya I mean he was channeling Hitler quite well when complaining about migrants poisoning blood or saying there is an enemy within that is the greatest threat to our country
Yea you don’t condone violence because you don’t believe Trump is really a nazi, Hitler or an existential threat to Democracy in spite of the lefts rhetoric. You know it was all disingenuous bluster. Otherwise it would be inexplicable to not endorse violence. Millions of lives would be at stake.
So like I asked, what was my answer to why I don't want to commit violence? What did I say? Not what you hope I said. What did I say about our institutions? What did I say about a fascist administration doesn't make a fascist Nazi level country? I also want to give you some patronizing history lessons now also. Like I want to show you how the Nazi ideology as we know it today that created the Holocaust was seen very differently in the 1920s intentionally. Many prominent Americans supported the rise of the Nazi party in Germany and supported fascist movements in the 1920s. None of the fallout from a world war and a Holocaust hadn't happened yet to make Nazis the taboo evil ideology as we view it today. So let me tell you a hard truth you need to cope with. If you existed in the 1920s, you'd be doing this same loop asking why people are concerned because death camps don't exist. The view of the proto-Nazi fascist movements in Germany and across Europe were seen through entirely different lenses between 1920s and the 1940s. Not a single person in Europe or America thought these fascist movements gaining traction would lead to genocide and a world war. A lot of Anericans were sympathetic to fascist movements in Europe back here but suddenly changed their tune when American soldiers were fighting Nazis and the stories of the death camps started to hit the papers. Before the invasions, before the death camps etc there was just a ideological movement that hated migrants and hated the new liberal government of Germany. No one thought the Nazis before the 40s or late 30s were an existential genocidal threat.
lmao - perfect. The quintessential chronically online, mentally ill, unhinged leftists history of national socialism rant. Doesn’t get any more internet than that. Nobody cares about your interpretation of history or its connection to contemporary events bruh.
No, that was you guys that said democracy is on the ballot. What did the Boy Scouts do again? I missed that. (been out of the loop)
It is on the ballot. My god dude, do you think a GOP campaign wouldn't make up that slogan if a Democrat was calling Fox News enemy of the people, saying they would use the military to go after said enemy within, saying white people poison the blood of our country, repeats the election not only was stolen but also WILL BE stolen in perpetuity if they ever loses again to convince their base to ignore election results if they don't get their guy in office. I have no doubt the GOP would run a presidential campaign on saving democracy under that hypothetical context above. That is the most obvious thing a political campaign would do if their opponent said any of that crap.
