That's ok. You will never convince some people the earth is spherical either.

Maybe not the right topic for this but holy hell. Ok Mariners lost which is the most important thing but I watch lot of Yankees games (usually hating, have bet on them but if they lose it's a win even losing the bet) and this game against Rangers was just gross by the umpire. Prob umpire thinks when Rangers out of it he can call whatever. In 8th and 9th inninngs ump called like 5-10 strikes for Yankees pitchers that were not even close to the zone. Kay and Cone tried to sell it (after some hmmm silence every pitch) like Trevino was doing magic framing. The framing was like 8yo dragging the glove cross the plate imitating favorite players. Still Yankees managed to lose :).

League needs Yankees to get to WS so bad it's a joke. I hope they crash and burn but not so badly that Boone or Cashman would have to go. Don't want them changing things. Boone is just the biggest clown of manager in league and did't deserve the chance to manage to begin with. Marmol prob. the next biggest stooge. :)

What sucks is that the white sox have won 4 games since the All Star break and one of them was against us.

The ump was +1,26 runs for Yankees with 95% accuracy.

Vlad Jr's numbers for the 41 games since the all-star break. Those are Barry Bonds on juice numbers.

    .423 .494 .821 1.315

He is has only one less homerun(14) than strikeouts(15). He has 20 walks.

MLB has been doing a crappy job of rigging things in the Yankees favor, given that they haven't been to a WS in 15 years (1 in the last 20)

Just shows how pathetic the yankees are, can't even win when the league wants them to.

This is why if he was available at the deadline I would've been willing to way overpay for Vlad Jr.

Blughbaugh/Bloss/Matthews/Baez type deal. I think he's that good.

Or how incompetent Manfred and the NYC boys are?

A little from column A and a little from column B?

We account for a disproportionate amount of White Sox wins...

Matt Chapman just signed an extension for 6 years, $151 mil. Wipes out the final 2 years of his current deal. Fans are saying this is a lot. Bad for Astros regarding Bregman?

If that's the rate for Bregman, that's not horrible at all.

    Do it.

How much would you have to trade for him? All of the prospects?

Also, True: he sucked earlier, and then got better.
