I believe Ohtani had Tommy Johns and can still hit. Maybe the UcL injury is more impactful to hitters
George Kirby career ERA vs. teams >.500: 2.74 George Kirby career ERA vs. teams <.500 (before yesterday): 3.82 George Kirby career ERA vs. teams <.500 (including last night's game): 4.17
The most important... George Kirby era vs Astros: 1.57 Astros needs to go ask the Tigers how to hit Kirby. Era vs Tigers: 9.25
https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/...ng-pitchers-how-mandatory-outings-could-work/ MLBPA will reject instantly
did anyone see the pirates bullpen collapse after Paul Skene left the game? good lord astros gotta somehow pry Skene away from Pittsburgh just like how they pried gerrit cole away from Pittsburgh in 2018.
https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/08/giants-place-thairo-estrada-taylor-rogers-on-waivers.html Probably after signing Neris, no more additions? But Taylor Rogers is having a good season. Around $2 million this year and $12 next year.
i believe it was Rogers who had a massive collapse against the mariners. they were up 5 or something like that.
I think the guy who allowed those runs were Tyler Rogers. Taylor Rogers pitched in 2 games and allowed 0 runs
Are the balls juiced for the opposing teams as well or do they know which balls to use when they're batting? If juiced for both teams, hopefully the Astros face them in the playoffs. Either Astros bats will hit lots of homers as well or MLB goes to non juiced balls and Soto and Judge comes up just short of a homerun and ends up being caught.
