One of my best friends is a Nets fan and he was thrilled with Durant but didn't want Kyrie.

Funny how the Kyrie to Brooklyn move ended up winning a championship for...the ****ing Warriors

I really thought the next jersey to hang from our rafters would be Harden. Who knew it would be Kyrie :D

Woj still pushing this 6 mil contract from the Lakers with a straight face…

Kyrie must actually be crazy enough to do it, because ain’t no way somebody this respected would be pushing an option like that so heavily

Never seen a Team blow up as fast as the nets, I hope they are a lottery team this year so we have two chances for #1 overall.

I mean, the only way I could see it happening is if they have a deal where Kyrie signs the MLE this year and then an extension for when Westbrook comes off the books. Or am I thinking too much?

We can only swap. We don’t own their pick

that why i said "two chances" if we failed to get #1 but the nets get it we can swap with them.

Media will be forced to admit houston won if Nets become a lottery team next year and get the #1 overall pick and houston just swaps their pick for it. NBA twitter, NBA reddit, Nets reddit everyone will be force to admit houston won and Stone is one of the top GMS in the NBA.

I mean as far as I’m concerned we’re already seemingly winning or will win the trade.

They mortgaged their future for someone who left within a year and got back someone who literally hasn’t stepped on the court.

If Kyrie leaves and KD follows suit it will obviously be much better for us, but just in terms of James for what we got it’s hard to say the Nets prospered in any way.

they wouldn’t have Kyrie’s full Bird Rights tho

I don’t really know the Lakers cap situation and how much they could offer him next offseason tho

he’d have lost 47 mil in salary alone in the past year on top of how much he’s losing with his Nike deal

If I were the Lakers, I would go all in on KD instead.

But he lost $17 million last year in unplayed games. It's all mad money to him. He truly doesn't care.

he lost 17 mil, but he thought he was getting a fully guaranteed max from Nets this offseason…now he’s looking at losing another 30 mil this year

but the only reason I can take a player of this caliber signing for 6 mil even 1% seriously is because we’re talking about Kyrie…he is addicted to being a contrarian and has several screws loose
