The jury has returned a verdict.

trading for nets picks and tanking has more potential than having a damaged goods Simmons and mediocre Caris lavert

Potential being the operative word. We'll revisit this in '26 :D

Should of had an "or" in there.

And FYI - no one was pushing to build around Levert. Absolutely no one.

    Well ...
It would really be SGA vs Green to be fair, right?
    Plus Giddey vs Sengun
    KPJ vs Dort
    Tre Mann vs Christopher
    Poku vs Garuba

Maybe Chet vs Paulo this year
    And Dieng vs Tari

Then there's Wenbanyamma vs Scoot next year

SGA is on a max contract so it would be more appropriate to compare him to Jokic (or whoever Rockets acquire next season or at deadline).

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully the Nets trade him to the Lakers for trash, and our draft pick gets better.

Is stupidity an asset? Willingness to acquire Kyrie at the max for multiple years and send picks to the Nets may be an asset only the Lakers have. While Rockets fans want Kyrie out of there because he potentially could hurt the Rockets picks, every NBA team has to be looking at the Watson situation in Cleveland. Sure it is a different situation, but Kyrie has the potential to destroy a franchise for a long time.

This is all part of the master plan by Harden and KD to reunite in Houston then use the Nets pick and Jalen to acquire more all-stars...

    (I miss winning Rockets basketball :( )

Indeed another cautionary tale on why you don’t value talent over being a headcase. And KPJ is no Kyrie talent wise. Short leash my friends.

And who are these people that think Kyrie would help the current state of the rockets?
