We are not getting Tari Eason at 17 guys. We need to trade up for him and I’ll trade Wood + Tate + picks to get up to #10 or higher.

Was going to make a post about this. His potential is a better/longer OG. He is 6’8. Wingspan rumored to be anywhere from 6’9 to almost 7’3. If it’s 7’3 this guy is a top 10 pick. Every single team in the league can use him.

Eason is definitely a better defender than Banchero, I don’t consider Banchero to be ever average defensively.

Ill trade Wood right now to get him. Tate....I mean, I love Tate but if those numbers are what they are....than Im not ignoring them this time like I did for Mobely. We should absolutely try to get this kid if we can.

I'd trade Tate for Eason in a heartbeat.

    Faster even.

    Choose one -

    Tari Eason
    Dyson Daniels
    Mark Williams

Can you get one of those three at 17 ?

Yeah I'm big on Eason as well and I believe the wingspan to be over 7ft easily just by the eye test. If we fall to 5, but trade up from 17 and walk away with Sharpe and Eason, ill be hype af but have to be patient for it to all come together

Williams could fall to 17. All 3 could be gone by 17 too.

    This thread’s topic: next year’s Net’s pick.
Half the posts: this year’s draft prospects?

Either one is a win at #17.

    My order of preference:

    Tari Eason
    Mark Williams
    Dyson Daniels

    Same ....

Dream draft is coming away with both Chet & Eason.

I've seen Eason as high as 9 in a mock but most have him available at 17. I have my doubts that he makes it that far, Swiss army knife bigs that won't get run off the court by 5 out is something 32 teams need.

I'm also baffled by most of these mocks having Sochan ahead of Eason who's the better shooter and defender, at least right now. Eason is what a team hopes Sochan is next year ....

maybe Williams but I doubt it. U just named my 3 favorite prospects outside the early lotto, but Eason is the guy I really want.

the outcome of the ultimate LOTTO will likely help determine the destinations of most of the #s 4-15 picks. It should help focus a #17 + ________ move up to get ‘the guy’.

    Sochan is younger.

    It's the Keegan Murray effect.

Murray best scorer in draft but he's barely in top 5 conversations due to his age despite his 2 way production.

He’s being underrated. If we end up picking at #5 and keep the pick, it’s the Murray show as far as I’m concerned. And honestly ending up with someone as good as he is at #5 in a weak draft is pretty damn good. So our worst case scenario is actually not bad.

With all the drama probably makes sense for NETS to trade KD and Irving and try to get picks for the future
