So Urias was reported by a witness and it was caught on a phone camera. Definitely gotta chance his career is over in MLB. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...s-alerted-police-altercation-led-urias-arrest
Adolis Garcia to the IL for The Rangers. Can probably stick a fork in them as far as the division is concerned. Should be a 2-horse race from here on
I contend that is bad news for the Astros. We need the Rangers to win some (ideally 4) of the final 7 against the Mariners.
Rangers may be too far out of the WC race by the time they play the Mariners in the last series of their season. As bad as we pummeled and humiliated them...they may take their foot off the petal just so the Astros don't win the AL West once again. I wouldn't rule it out. Rangers brass have shown to be vindictive in the past (refusing to switch home/away series during the hurricane). Astros just have to keep winning and finish at least 1 win ahead because of the tie-break.
2023 will be the first year that the 2nd spot in the batting lineup will be the spot in the lineup with the best OPS leaguewide. No. 3 or cleanup have lead every other year for the last century.
