There's a pretty big cognitive dissonance to allowing teams with $250m+ payrolls compete with teams with <$100m payrolls but being upset that said small-market teams found ways to remain competitive. Or just pure ignorance that rich teams would eventually adopt those methods too. Seems a little old man yells at cloud'ish.
Not saying you're wrong generally speaking, Ask Crane if Luhnow using technology didn't help the valuation of his team?

Understandable why Altuve and the Astros f****d them last year and every year in recent memory Yeahhh!!.. F*** Altuve!!
Westwood failed first. Sharpstown has followed gradually past 25 years Hope the downtown hotel-boom doesn't follow suit Life is a trip. I've seen malls in Phoenix and Atlanta go from bustling to ghost-towns within a 5-year period
1. Absolutely correct 4.5 inches closer for base stealers. 2. Well they've nearly tripled from this point last season. So yeah I got my wish. We will see about batting averages. 10-15 points is more feasible as players continue to try to jack the ball out of the yard.
Alot of the early negativity about about the pitch clock seems to be fading. 83% Yes votes as of this posting.
I've seen a lot of people talk about how there is less than 1 violation a game of the pitch clock. I don't think nearly one violation a game should be celebrated. I was hoping it would be a thing that just kind of disappears once players adapt. MLB overall, time is down by an average of 31 minutes so far. Astros have had 2 of the 3 hour plus games. Stolen bases are way up with 1.4 per game on a high percentage. Pick off throws seem to be way down.
