He had that nice block on Lebron. He and Green broke out that game.

Wait, so the coin flip also affects Indiana if Cleveland wins?!? So if CLE wins the coin flip, we will get BKN's pick at #16 and IND will get #17?

    I am so confused.

    Got my answer -

So if CLE wins, they lose their pick and the coin flip is really between BKN and IND.

So Cleveland gets rewarded either way - a loss gives them a lottery pick and a win puts them in the playoffs- ?

I'm telling you guys, this play in is the dumbest thing NBA could have come up with....

    Play in is brilliant.

Fans will get to see Trae score 40
    Rox still pick at 17
CLE fans will wish they traded for proven playoff guy Gordon - as will Rox fans (could have been 16 and 17!!)
Indiana fans will be disappointed about missing a second 1st rounder this year
CLE fans get into the lotto and start dreaming of a top 4 pick on minuscule chances

It's not really Sengun v. Jovic. It's the well that people think Euro players are lesser athletes in lesser leagues.

Unless Cleveland fails to make the playoffs next year too - in which case Indiana goes to 2nd rounders?

Surely they didn't see this as a realistic possibility at the time of the trade?

While I’m happy we have this pick, I’m not sure there are 17 draft-eligible players that I really want to take with this pick. I hope we trade up, package the pick for a player, or trade it for a future pick. Regardless, I’m excited to have this asset.

Well, thanks to Harden, we went from the 30th Pick to the 17th Pick. I'll look at it glass half full.

I just hope we land in the Top 3. Outside of Holmgren, Smith and Banchero I'm not hyped.

Anyone think we could trade #17 and Wood to get into like #10 - #14 range?

    Would it be worth it?
