the NBA fan in me wanted to see a Boston-BK rematch in the playoffs anyways…this time, the teams are more evenly matched I hope the Hawks win out and secure the 8th seed don’t want to see anymore of the Cavs, I’m good on them
Our best option to use this Nets draft pick is to get into top 10 by trading the pick and including one or a combination of Gordon/Wood/Wall/Nwaba Everything else for me is a loss
Honestly, it was a pipe dream that this years pick would be in the teens. We all woulda got rich making that bet in Vegas.
I know we might be disappointed with (probably) pick 17 now, but it could be worse! We could be the Pacers and on the brink of losing what they thought was a certain first round pick at the deadline! The LeVert trade may well be a first rounder for Indiana next year, but if Cleveland lost to Atlanta/ Charlotte it will certainly not convey this year
From reading about it. The ideal situation, now that the Nets beat the Cavs, is that the Wolves make the playoffs. And that Cleveland win its second game, so that it would force a coin toss between the Cavs and the Nets for the 16 and 17th pick.
What........a.........game!!! That was one of the most compelling games I've seen in awhile. P-Bev in all his obnoxious glory! Got his revenge! Ant-Man really stepped up too. (r u watching JG) Now if the Cavs can step up, then with a little coin-flip luck we can get #16. See I'm kinda fond of that number. We've had some very good success there lately! Besides 1 slot can make all the difference in the world if the right player's there.
At the beginning pf the season I expected this pick would be between 26-32. To get 17 or 18 is amazing for me.
Pacers arent that depressed they stole Haliburton from the Kings, everything else is bonus RN. Also fans who are disappointed now are probably the ones who wanted us to trsde for Simmons instead of the Nets. Getting a 16-18th pick for the first pick we will receive from the Nets is crazy, there's like 3 more to go with 2 swaps.
let's not forget this the same bruce brown who f'd up the end of game 7 last year lol. he and pat bev both got a lot of heart, and both also dumb as rocks
Kyle Lowry had huge attitude problems as a young player, and Jrue Holiday had 1 playoff season with AD before he went to Milwaukee. Why would paying KPJ be the start of a disaster when you compare him to those players and why are using CP# as an example, a guy who was picked at the top of the draft? What does Simmons have to do with any of this? You are all over the place and have yet make a salient point.
