Yeah, it would suck honestly unless we could trade all our young guys for superstar players for him to play with. We'd just be treading water with Harden again like the Blazers are doing with Lillard.

I'd rather continue with this rebuild.

 

It just seems likely because we have so many Harden fans here.

I personally think Houston is pretty much at the bottom of his list or down in his Top 15 of destinations.

Highly unlikely. Harden track record says this would be just another unsuccessful pairing. Plus harden is now past his ability to maintain his body while living the playboy lifestyle. The play your way into shape game is done.

 

As fair as the Simmons trade if you consider 2021-22 NBA season production.

 

I really doubt the Nets are actually engaged in trade talks about Harden and this is likely Morey leaks to drive up the price... KD will be back in a few weeks and despite their struggles and issues, the Nets are still one of the favorites to win the title. They aren't going to blow that chance up for Simmons or for fear of Harden not re-signing in the off season.

However, IF the reports of Hardens unhappiness is true AND he has requested a trade or inform them he isn't returning, Harden to Philly is on the table.

 

So Morey knows Harden is just wearing a fat suit lately. Once he is traded to Philly, he will be back to his former MVP self. Hmm...
