/no D&D/ Ted Cruz discusses the Kyrie situation and invites him to play on the Rockets. (This is all we need--to remind potential free agents that they would be represented by Ted Cruz.)
I'm not sure if this belongs here or the Tankathon thread, but it would be a huge if Orlando beat BKN tonight.
Like i mentioned before both teams got better w the Harden/Simmons trade. Kyrie is worth paying as a part time player as well. Picks don't seem to be worth a ton.
Except in Brooklyn's case it seems they've gotten better via addition by subtraction. Their major return piece hasn't even played yet. But they look like a new revitalized team. Kyrie and KD look more in their element. As far as the 6ers...I guess they've gotten better although to me they look mostly the same that they did before the deadline....Those first few games it looked like Embiid was buying into Harden ball and was ok with letting him run the show...After that Nets loss to me it looks like Embiid decided he was just going to do him and James would need to fit in around him and not vice versa...To me, James doesn't look that comfortable standing around watching the offense go through Embiid...JMO... But we will see how they do in the playoffs because that is all that matters to those upper tier teams.
Kyrie is ultra motivated to stick it to Harden. Fortunately he doesn't get to play in many of the remaining games.
Fled Cruz does not speak for most Rocket fans. Identity politics and their sham should steer clear of sport. Kyrie is batsht crazy no doubt, but he's not human scum like the bootlicker Cruz is.
Glass half full view of their current winning streak is that the pick is still better than what most of us were thinking prior to the start of the season, when it looked like the pick could have ended up being something like 29th or 30th. Now maybe it's in the high teens or low 20s even if Brooklyn continues to win?

Exactly, Harden was not having a positive effect at all. Harden with part time Kyrie and that team was lottery bound. KD with part time Kyrie and they are looking like legit title threats.
I think there's a pretty good chance it will stay at 16 or drop to 17, but it takes some other teams helping by winning, like Raptors and Cavs. Nets have 13 games left but could catch the Cavs while Allen is still out. I don't think with their schedule, they'll be able to catch or pass Toronto or Celtics.
Are they? Who have they actually beat and can Kyrie really sustain this? I am not saying they will miss the playoffs but title contenders?
