Simmons would probably be better for the Nets in the long run. I was hoping Harden would bail at end of the season. Not sure Morey should trust Harden to re-sign.

He will resign but if Nets gets Simmons/one of their young guys/plus a role player I don't see the 76ers even getting pass the bucks.

I think Morey really wants to do the deal at this deadline, without question. But I don't think he wants to pay much more than just Simmons for Harden.

This Brooklyn meltdown is really getting me excited lol. Their next four games are interesting... If Harden doesn't play, they could be in trouble.

I know I should temper expectations. Kevin Durant will return. Joe Harris is up in the air. But with Kyrie only part-time, they're a mess.

Toronto, Boston, Charlotte and Atlanta... We're all counting on you.

FWIW The Sixers are very confident that Harden isn’t washed or slowing down much. They think he would thrive in Philadelphia. Let’s see what happens… the Sixers won’t over pay.

What’s the reasoning behind their belief of Harden? He’s clearly declined IMO, his finishing at the rim is atrocious. There’s other factors behind his subpar play for his standards tho such as BK having sh*t tier spacing and no lineup consistency whatsoever

Oh, I didn’t know he was in Portland now. To be honest, I thought he retired… But I liked him a lot on the Clippers in 2004/5, if he can still produce at that level, I’d want him here, too…

Simmons is a great regular season player, yes. All his fails are playoff-related.

Draft is only thing left to look forward to for fans of Rockets. Getting 2 picks in lottery will be crazy town.

But I cant get too excited because I dont trust FO one lick to make the right pick(s).

    Precedence is a good barometer.

How long would it take for Ben Simmons to get into game shape?

Nets probably gotta figure out what’s up with his mental health…if his mental health issues just magically disappear once a trade is completed, then that would be real shameful on Simmons part

at least he’s vaccinated so he can play in home games unlike QAnon Kyrie

I’m here for a Nets-Sixers playoff series tho…Simmons liable to have his mental all fcked up again playing in front of the Philly crowd…Hack-A-Simmons in front of the Philly fans? Oh my

Wait till James sees what Philly fans do to him after a playoff no-show...

    Haha,
@Aruba77 started the joke by misdirecting to Anfernee Simons, so I continued with Bobby Simmons...

    He don't care about that.

He just wants to eat cheese steaks, be close to Morey again and pop willies with Meek Mill and lil Baby.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a team get taken like that before. A superstar demands a trade, his former team gets massive assets from that team in the form of draft compensation and then the superstar goes back to the original team at the end of his contract. I know this wasn't the case with James, but I'm surprised stuck superstars don't consider this, or at least the agents don't organize it.

And then pulls a hammy in the Playoffs or another Playoff job.
