Ok? So Irving is a dumbass, I thought everyone knew that when he got exposed as a flat earther. However I don't know what that has to do with Harden screwing the Nets over.

He's a like a fair weather friend. He joined them when it looked like smooth sailing, but then bailed ASAP when things didn't look so hot.

Frankly I applaud and appreciate him having the balls to stand up for his rights. Current state of events continue to reflect he was justified in his stance. We get a war in Ukraine and suddenly COVID disappeared.

KD did choose Irving over everyone indirectly. Because under normal circumstances Kyrie would have been traded in the beginning of the season for refusing to get vaxxed. Durant veto'd that idea, so Kyrie sat on his ass for half a season. All this snow balled into Durant and Harden playing way heavier minutes than they should be coming back from injuries, leading to more injuries and eventual collapse.

KD isn't the victim because he's the one that refuses to let Kyrie get traded.

What's the market for a max pg who can't play cuz he isn't vaccinated? More importantly how was KD supposed to know Harden was gonna bail if he kept Irving around? He already had Irving on the team when Harden hit him up and said he wanted to join, now apparently Harden left because KD kept his original teammate on the team? Makes zero sense.

Everyone of y'all keeps saying KD chose Irving over Harden but when did Harden say it's either Irving or me? Did Harden tell KD when Irving refused to get vaccinated that he wanted out if KD isn't gonna trade Irving? No right? Harden just woke up one day and thought he had enough and started wearing his fat suit to work. KD wasn't even given a chance to make a choice gimme a break.

I am assuming KD isn't an idiot. He probably knew harden was unhappy.

    Harden didn’t owe KD anything.

KD could’ve teamed up with James in Houston but instead he went to a direct rival and was a part of preventing him from getting a ring.

KD again played him when he chose kyrie.

I don’t even like Harden, but I hope they do meet in the playoffs and he smacks them.

But knowing Harden he’ll probably show up drunk, or concussed, or tired, or injured, or with not enough help…

I have seen when it matters, Kyrie is able to bring it at times. I saw it in that Bucks game last Saturday, and saw it in the 2016 finals. Game 1 he led all scorers, game 5 he dropped 41 on 70%+ shooting, those shots were insanely clutch and well defended. There are big moments where he is able to outshine prime Lebron, Giannis, and Steph in spurts. He isnt as consistent, but he has his days and they tend to come at the right moment. KD has done it more consistently.

This statement does not hold up to scrutiny.

Covid is still here. Folks are just more focused on a war where Russia is invading another country.

Man played on an injured hammy during the playoffs after kyrie went down.
Stop spinning it like harden bailed as soon as the going gets tough.

He didn't feel comfortable playing with kyrie part time and kd that's getting injured alot. He wanted a ring. Joining the sixers gives him the same chance if not more at winning one

Hawks are just a half game back of BK for 8th and have a slightly easier schedule

Nets are facing Boston, Charlotte, and Philly next all on the road

they are 13-18 at home which is laughably bad…they have home games against Dallas, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Utah, and Cleveland remaining

No, I don't think he screwed them over by leaving. Did we screw CP3 over by having him sign here, relocate his family then trading him away? When we ship Wood off will we have screwed him over? If we fire Silas will we have screwed him over? Etc. These are all instances of the team changing their mind. I don't knock a player for doing the same thing. Harden signed up for one thing and got something else when he got there.

Now if you think teams doing all of the above is screwing players over then at least your stance will be consistent. I fully agree the manner Harden used to get out was foul, but if he hadn't done that then he arguably wouldn't have gotten out.

KD as the ultimate loyal guy is a joke. If his gutless going to Golden State for a ring was not enough he will be moving on.

All I know Is harden leaving could end up being the biggest reason y the Nets picks is getting better and better each day.

Simmons might not even b back anytime soon. And the schedule is getting harder.

The Nets pick thread has turned into a D&D thread.
