i am rooting for that. the biggest factor is KD. we need him to be injured. i know it's not right to wish an injury, but hey, this is sports.

Fun fact: Durant has played fewer total games than Anthony Davis (a.k.a. Mr. Glass) in 20-21 and 21-22 seasons.

In the past he wouldn't even have played after the injury he had.

Nothing to do with the games they have won, not sure why make that assumption since a majority of the players i listed have not even played in these two games. I think of the players listed, only Curry has played in the wins? On paper they have some more depth. Still a ton of variables that are unknown, health of KD and Harris going forward, Kyrie's mental health is an unknown. Simmons has not played basketball in a year, and the team made it sound like he isnt really ready to play. He was also out for mental health reasons officially, but is also not in physical shape to play either. If everyone got it together though, I think this is a better / younger team. They would be the highest drafted starting lineup of all time.

If the projected date of March 15 is real for Durant, there is a real possibility the Nets go 2-10 until that date. There schedule is brutal the rest of the year. If Durant does not come back until March 15th they in all probability be the 9th seed. I think 18th pick is the worst we can do.

I really want Nets to be 10th seed or lower.

    I have hope.

After Drock mentioned him a few times, I watched a bit of Tari Eason and am impressed. I live in Baton Rouge, I may need to go watch a game.

Need to be looking at Chet/Eason, Smith/Eason, Griffin/Kessler or Ivey/Kessler combos IMO.

I have absolutely no interest in Kessler. He’s a back up big at best in the NBA and just doesn’t fit the modern game. Hopefully a swing for the fences like Patrick Baldwin or Niko Jovic is the move. Jaden Hardy may even drop that far and may be worth a flier despite being redundant in theory.

Worst case, Stone packages a mid teen pick with a contract turd for more cap savings and develop a player fans don't like

I'd favor Jokic or Hardy over Baldwin. I get your sentiment but I also think a player like Kessler is critical for certain matchups and to fill a very specific role for 10-20 min a game.

Holmgren/Jokic would be a thumbs up draft fo sho.

I really want Jabari here but Chet is so much fun to watch. I’d be thrilled anywhere in the top 3. Hopefully the Rockets can keep losing and make sure they stay top odds and maybe sneak into top 5 lock by out tanking the Pistons and Magic.

Not so far fetched really. Such a fragile situation there. So many landmines any one of which could start the dominoes falling.

BOOOM - Durant - health (physical)
BOOOM - Kyrie - health (mental)
    BOOOM -Simmons - health (psychological?)
    BOOOM - Nash (competency)

Seems like 10 is about the lowest they can sink right? If I understand correct the pic can either be 1 through 3 or whatever spot they finish in?

They are ahead of #11 Wizards 3.5 games. There is a chance, although not likely, they can sink lower than WAS.

Curry is balling. He is actually better than Irving. A Mills-Curry backcourt is quite solid. But when Kyrie is not playing, they have depth problem.

Seth is having quite a streak of games but would never say he's better than Curry.

Especially in crunch time under the hottest lights.

    And I can't stand Kyrie.

Eason is that guy. I’m pretty sure he’s played himself to mid lotto though. Not often you get a 6’8” wing who has shake on a handle, a defensive menace, and shooting decent from catch and shoot/pull up. I never thought we’d sniff his draft position but here we are.

Seth is actually better than Kyrie based on what? C’mon, that’s absurd
