See you're playing vs jvu, thought you had another match up, so I won't say you're facing one of the best teams. But still, his spacing is way better and he has the right mixture of shot creators, shooters, defense etc. Jrue+Bradley+George is a great trio, they are all athletic, good defenders and more than capable at 3pt shooting. Combine that with Dirk and the spacing and offense is wonderful. Also, pairing Asik with Dirk gives him somebody that really helps Dirk on defense and is an anchor.

His team is well built(only two "stars", BUT really great mixture and everyone has a defined role in which he compliments the team) and you are not the favourite in this matchup, it's not like you're playing vs scrubs.

Look at your team, Wall+Derozan for example is a very mediocre back court shooting-wise, as both need to slash. At their club they are paired with a 3pt shooting partner that compliments them and can play off the ball, see Beal/Lowry.

I just don't think your team is that well built.

I liked your team, you just got a bad match-up.

Was probably the hardest to adjudicate.

Your backcourt is awesome but it's going against 3 top defensive players. Gasol is great, but has to defend Dirk, but I gave you the match-up on 'interior scoring' because Gasol would eat Dirk in the post. Asik on DeAndre? Jordan only scores when he's out on the break.

The biggest drawback for you was 4 players that can step out & hit the 3, as well as create for themselves.

Very, very close...but this time it was JVU.

Edit: just had a look & your team would've beaten at least 4 of the other teams, maybe 5 if that helps.

I don't know why this matchup looks so different to me compared to previous votes. I guess I value Rondo less. Also, VBG's bench defense is very good, he should be taking those defensive categories.

I think Pau will struggle defending Dirk. I like Bloomer's backcourt. But Jvu counters it with an insane perimeter defense and a good bench. Pick any two of George, Bradley, Holiday, all 3 of them can defend Wall and DeMar. Demar struggles vs. aggressive physical defenders too.

I think these are two of the best teams and the most interesting matchup in this round. I like how RR14's team is built a bit better, it's an athletic mobile balanced team. But Jamers' team has more talent IMO, and I went with talent.

Thanks Donatas. Thought I was going crazy when I saw how badly I was losing. Definitely thought it was a lot more even than it was being portrayed.

I picked a lot of unpopular players this year though. Kyrie, Kevin Love, Roy Hibbert and Matt Barnes.

I really liked your team, it was just a bad matchup. I know most of the fun is in drafting, but every team should get to play each other in a tournament style.

Either top 8 make playoffs...(the worst team gets to Draft first next Draft! Lol)
Or the tournament sets the seeding. The tiebreaker for Tied records would be whoever drafted lower gets higher seeding.

Your team was in the top 4 or 5, sucks going home in first round...

    Oh no...memories of the Blazettes!!!

    I won't sleep! .9! .9! .9! Aaaaaaarfgggh!

Really curious as to why this is a bad matchup for me. Kevin Love should be by far the biggest mismatch here. He has no one remotely fit to guard Kevin Love. Unless he wants to bring Dwight far away from the basket which he doesn't like and would totally open up the defense.

I love looking at matchups. Find it more fun than the drafting. Think I'm one of the only ones though.

I had my votes and my post was deleted. Not motivated to go through the whole process again right now.

I'd say, John Henson is long and athletic enough to guard Love. Henson had a great year definitively and on the boards. He's played time at the 3, so he's used to being out on the perimeter.

I honestly watched no Bucks basketball this year but I will say he seems very skinny. The Bucks are just a complete black hole in my NBA knowledge. I don't think I watched a single Bucks game this year which is hard considering I watch parts of games probably 5 nights a week.

That voting scheme has everyone scared of voting. So much quoting and typing to do, meh.

Quote Izak's post and just change the answers where you feel it's necessary. That's what I did. :p

I wouldn't have done it either if Izak didn't do all the work and made it easy.

I've tried typing it out several times on my phone since I don't have a computer and it's deleted itself multiple time. Pissed me off. I'll probably just not list the rosters.
