Homeland had a strong first half to season 2 but then it fell of the cliff for the second half. At first I was surprised Rectify wasn't nominated for best miniseries but then I remembered it got renewed so it's technically a series now. Sucks that it didn't get a nomination for anything though. I hope Jon Hamm finally wins that Emmy. Only 1 more season left for Mad Men so time is running out. Seems like the new season of Arrested Development wasn't that well-received by Emmy-voters. Surprised The Office didn't get any courtesy nominations on its way out.
Also...Homeland doesn't deserve anything after that absurd 2nd season. Strong 1st Season, strong first few episodes of the 2nd Season, but man...the writing was just bad after that. Way too many ridiculous things going on. Wasn't a fan. Hoping Season 3 can rebound though.
Orphan Black (Tatiana Maslany), The Good Wife, Jeff Perry from Scandal and Parks and Rec were all 'WTF" worthy snubs.
