Forgive me if this has been mentioned mulitple times already, but how much of an utter tool will Pat Riley look like if he is eliminated in the first round after forcing SVG out?

Anyone remeber that Hinrich or Wade thread back in the day? Back then it was obviously Wade, now? Hinrich is closing the gap. The Bulls could use a super star, but it will probably be better if they just add someone through the draft and hope he develops.

Trade Tmac for Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni and the Rockets are set to be a title contender for the next 6 years with a healthy Yao in the middle.

The Bulls have the Knicks pick in this year's draft, so they have a chance to add a special player. Hinrich is a good player, but he can't carry a team. What's good about him is he plays average or better in critical games.

A big story in Chicago this offseason is what happens with Ben Gordon. He's as good as gone. What will the Bulls get for him? They should be a Finals contender next season if they add a good low-post scorer.

I am loving Bonzi Wells and Artest bully the Spurs. Bad @ss backcourt.

Attack of the Thugs on the Spurs.

So far, Artest has completely taken manu out of the game.

DAMMIT!!! I wanted Artest on the Rockets. :(

PS. Jalen Rose sounds like a 1st grader reading ingredients off of a candy wrapper. He is terrible!

SacTown has a lot of players who can put the ball on the floor.

To think how many people were thinking Artest was too big a risk for teh Kings... I mean , I can understand Pacertom, but the rest of posters, I don't really understand.

Should we go after Bonzi with the MLE?

Rizzy we should go after Bonzi but he is going to cost more than the MLE. I think the Kings have a good chance of resigning him.

If he will come for MLE, I'm all for it.

On the side note, remember Portland vs LA WCF a few years ago? That's when I first noticed Bonzi. He was phenominal then, and he's phenominal in this series.

Until the last 20 games of the regular season, the Bulls were very dysfunctional. It was ugly. There's been a lot of friction between him and Skiles about Gordon's role on the team. That's all forgotten in the moment, but these two have some serious patching up to do. If Gordon again hints that he wants to be traded, the Bulls should get plenty of sweet offers. They are tired of his complaining.

I think the Bulls have decided that Hinrich is their long-term starter at PG. They want Gordon to come off the bench but he doesn't like being used that way. My 2 cents is Gordon thinks he's a star already but he's not. He MUST become more consistent in his production. He can be awful sometimes. Gordon argues this is because of the way he's used. The situation is probably irreconcilable.

It's possible Gordon could become a 20+ points/game star but it won't be with the Bulls. He's itchin to become the main man somewhere. On this one, I'm siding with Skiles, though I don't like him all that much as a coach. The Bulls should have had a much better regular season record. At some points during the year, it seemed like Skiles had lost the team. But right now, it's all good in Chicago. :)

    Grizz what a let down
The bulls had a nice run and expose the heat's weakness
Nets took care of business, now its time for them to roll on to knockout the heat

Still believe in the Lakers and Kings....
Lbj should be wrapping his business up shortly

    Heat vs Nets anyone?

I think it will be the Heat in 5 or an easy 6, they're just finding their way at the right time, playing great defense and passing the ball well with Shaq playing at a high level, and Wade chilling. I don't like the Shaq vs Collins/Kristic/Robinson matchup, that's an extrememly thin front court going up against an older, but healthy, Shaq, it could get ugly. People are giving the Nets some hope because of what Vince did to them in the regular season, but that ain't going to fly in the postseason, they're going to have to get everyone involved to upset them, not just exploit the advantage Vince has over the Heat defenders them. Then there's Wade who is due to be the Wade of last season's playoffs, maybe Kidd can slow him down, I doubt it though, he will be the "Closer" for Miami.
