I smoke Marlboro Lights when I have a drink, which these days is about 4 nights a week. I can easily go a few days without a cigarette though, so I don't think I'm addicted. It's more of a habit and something that only sounds good after a few drinks. I smoke less than a pack a week, so I suppose it could be worse. I have tried the Camel Turkish Silver's that I thought were a lot like Marlboro's, never tried the Golds though. I do want to quit one of these days though.
I quit some time before December in 2004. I don't remember exactly when because I didn't want to. I thought it would make it harder on me quiting, knowing how long it has been since my last smoke.
Started when I was 13. I am now 45. I've quit off and on a few times....first time when I was 16 and cigs were $0.55 a pack. I smoke American Spirit Lights. The extra $1.00 tax just might force me to quit permanently.
Nope, but i might as well since im in the bar industry for this long i get second hand smoke way too much...need to definitly get a check up soon to make sure im okay lol...
I started smoking when I was twelve, spent about 2 or 3 years not smoking after I turned eighteen, and now smoke more than I ever have. I'm probably gonna have to quit this too. DAMMIT.
Marlboro lights. I am addicted to the wonderful blend of cardboard and various chemicals they mix in there. I should probably smoke American Spirits, but they just dont do it for me.
I really like Camel's new blends. Try "Special Lights" or "Turkish Silvers". They are far better IMO.
I've only smoked these... I smoke maybe twice a month, I have a pack of Djarum Blacks that I've had in my purse since Christmas. I like the taste of cloves, and they're alright sparingly, but I'm definitely not addicted to smoking in any way...
Sure it does. Most of it goes through the filter into the smokers lungs (a second filter) and then into the air. At that point its massively dispersed. Add to it that your exposure as a non-smoker is exponentially less than a smokers and the claim that it is deadlier is pretty silly (unless you've got some kind of condition that makes you more sensitive to smoke - like being allergic to tobacco - which is an ultra small part of the population). I'm on the downcurve - used to smoke reds, then camel lights, now marlboro lights with winston lights or dunhills occasionally mixed in.
I don't smoke, but has anyone heard Norm McDonald talk about smoking? That's some funny stuff right there.
Damn, taxes have been screwing us on these ever since. When I started they were $1.50. Best deal I ever found was $1.37. And that was in '88. I'm pretty sure that without taxes cigarettes would cost about 25 cents a pack.
