I came up with 5-11, but I like your 6-10 record better.

I think we start 0-3 before our first win against the Jags. Following the bye week a loss to the Titans (ugh) followed by beating the Jets at Reliant. A close game with the Colts (which the Colts win). Back to back wins follow (Panthers, Bengals) before a long losing streak. The season ends on a high note with a win against the Colts at home.

    Hope I'm way wrong:)

beat the Chiefs, Bengals, Jags the 2nd time, and the colts twice. Manning will become the Texans' beeyotch.

Then we draft Frank Gore in the 2004 draft.

Is it just me, or does that schedule look really hard for a team only in its 2nd year??

    Going by percentages....

We have the 7th most difficult schedule behind teams like Tampa Bay, Jets, etc.

Yeah we have a tooouuuggghh schedule this season. While 6-10 would be great to shoot for I wouldn't be surprised if we went 4-12 again or even worse. And going 4-12 wouldn't mean we 're not still moving in the right direction. Our lack of a big splash offseason proves one thing; Casserly is serious about building through the draft and developing our own players rather than blowing big bucks on free agents. That process could take awhile. Hopefully Texan fans will be patient.

I'll split the difference and say 5-11.

We come out of the gate hot and surprise the Fins in their crib by holding down Rickey Williams and opening up the offense a la last years cowgirl whooping.

First home win is against the Jags (they're our b!tch;) )

We win back to back aginst Carolina and Cincy.

Then a losing streak until we go to J'ville and crush the p***y cats again!

Those last three games are brutal.

I'll say 4-12. Maybe one division win next year.

the schedules are no longer adjusted based on your winning percentage the previous year. we've known since before the 2002 season who we'd be playing (in fact, we know who we'll play through 2008, save for the two "wildcard games" each year).

frankly, i think it's waaaaaaaay too early to draw any conclusions about our schedule. what looks tough in april may not be so bad in september.
