Obama is so much more poised and decisive than he was in the debates with Hillary. He's not playing not to lose anymore, and it shows.

i'm having trouble thinking these independents are really as independent as they say if the polls that have this a close race are right.

i mean on this russia answer the white line dropped off the map before mccain even got going.

the black line is basically normal reaction. above is positive, below is negative. the green line is the independents.

obama is doing very well with independents in that mississippi debate room, according to the green line. john mccain, for certain parts, has seen it gone negative for his entire responses, twice already.

Bigtexxx isn't concerned with how the rest of the world thinks, acts, speaks, or, you know, does stuff.

Ditto. I also think he's much better when he's allowed to give the first statement on a subject.

you can't judge it like that. after a response, it goes down again to normal. that's why you see a dip. mccain is doing pretty well in this russia response.

as long as obama ties mccain in this debate, he's good to go. this is supposed to be mccain's strong point and the thing he believes would make him more fit to be president.

In British English. Is Barack running for Prime Minister, or President.

How do they measure it though? Are they pushing buttons or something? Blue line is Dems, red line is Repubs, green line is Inds, what's the white line?

I wonder if they could take that "stat line" and quantify it to see which candidate had a more favorable reaction at the end of the night.

Both of the candidates bragging on the traitor Henry Kissinger. Gag me with a rusty spoon. The first one that says that Kissinger should be tried for treason and war crimes gets my vote. Go

The depth that McCain brings on foreign policy is amazing. Barack can only respond with one-liners.

Does it really matter how he pronounces it? You know what he is talking about and it isn't that far off of your idea of what is right. Try to find something else.....

WTF is this tangent that Barack is going on? The topic is Russia. I guess he doesn't have any more knowledge on that.

I'm biased of course, but I really didn't expect Obama to be this good in the debate, especially with foreign policy/national security.

There's plenty of people who call this country home, good citizens of this country, with international origins who pronounce it the native way.

    Take off the xenophobe hat.
