Why are the polls so close!? Everywhere I've been to and what I've heard from favors Obama overwhelmingly. By my estimate I would say about 97%.
If you want to be a poll junkie, try http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/search/label/today's polls http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ you might get addicted though Hint: as of now, it's not close.
Now McCain will attend the debate. He is an idiot. Now I am convinced that Obama will win this election. It doesn't say much because both guy are not qualified to be the president of US, IMHO. I just hope Obama won't be a disaster like Bush. He most probably won't because it is a really hard thing to accomplish. But I really doubt he has the ability to clean up the mess Bush leaves to this country.
Almost gametime http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_plank/archive/2008/09/26/tnr-tv-obama-and-mccain-s-best-debate-moments.aspx check the link above for highlights of the best debate moments for Obama and Mccain THe mccain video was particularly interesting, I had forgotten that Mccain can bring the heat.
This really sucks! I'm about to get in a car for a three hour drive and not reach my destination until right about the time the debate's over! Thank garsh for XM radio. Should be interesting to just listen to it. I'll see if there's a repeat on C-SPAN at midnight (maybe CNN?)
Is this debate going to be online anywhere? My DISH is fubar from the hurricane. EDIT: Looks like it might be here: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/18/politics/2008debates/main4457570.shtml
Break out the rabbit ears. I guess you can't do that after February 2009. Here's hoping Obama gives the old man a TKO on his area of expertise.
Close. 90 minutes. Doable but probably harder on McCain. I think the formats are different for the other debates. I think they'll be sitting for #2 and 3.
McCain can't wait to stop talking about deregulation here... He needs to minimize the bleeding til they change topics.
