He used it a lot. I think it's because Obama said the same thing about McCain during his speech at the DNC. So McCain took it and flipped it on Obama. He may have gone to it a little too often though.
The only thing John won tonight was having the hotter wife. Of course, that's his trophy wife he was banging while still married to his first wife. Family values my ***.
Obama showed his stripes by how frequently he got flustered. He tried to interrupt McCain, called him John, and hatefully laughed when McCain was speaking We can't have a man that easily shaken at the helm
This topic is John McCain's bread and butter.. he had home court advantage... Barack held serve. McCain has to go on the road for the next two debates into a Democratic wheelhouse. Good luck, John.
It was even, I thought McCain was a very weak on the economic problems on wallstreet, he was very vague. Obama was a lot more specific. Overall though the debate was very even.
I think it was relatively even in the beginning. I might even give McCain the edge because he might have started swinging harder earlier. I think they both did well but that Obama was just a notch better over the 2nd half of the debate. I don't think it's definitive by any stretch but I do give the edge to Obama.
You are out of your mind. John refused to even make eye contact with Obama during the entire debate. And laughing? Watch the debate again and count how many times John laughed his crooked smile off. Cod
Post-debate wraps calling McCain the winner, especially on foreign policy, where Barack could only respond with "I agree with John" also referencing the fact that Obama kept calling Senator McCain, "John". Disrespectful
i thought Obama did better later on. but i just don't agree with his message. plus, he is too darn arrogant.
how can these analysts say obama saying mccain's right on some points a bad thing? the reason we're in these wars and our alliances are lost is b/c we don't listen to our enemies for what they have to say. you don't just say "eff off" when you disagree with the guy.
I'll have to look at the first half of the debate more as I only caught the last 30 mins of it. However, Obama sounded like he had a much more reasonable approach to foreign policy and sounded very much on an even keel with McCain. McCain's usage of "Obama doesn't understand" was moronic at best and overused at the very worst.
Well, some guy on CNN just said McCain won because Obama acknowledged when he and McCain agreed and McCain didn't.
I didn't see it, I just got home - but I'm pretty sure Obama won and anybody who believes otherwise probably sucks.
that's why we care about voters (and we saw their reaction on CNN's audience reaction). these analysts usually just analyze garbage.
When you look at someone and speak to them, you call them by name. When you look to someone else and reference that person, you call them by proper name.
