only one game, but damn if Stevie doesn't look like he finally "gets it." Minus the woeful FT shooting, Stevie looked extremely polished out there, the floor general we all want him to be. Even when Andre Miller was driving to the hole on every possession and putting on a show in the first half, Stevie wasn't tempted to engage in a one-on-one duel with the opposing PG. You know he would've done it in the past. He made the right passes, took the right shots, and had active hands on defense the entire night. Again, only one game, but Stevie played like an all-star. I think Van Gundy is finding the right balance in focusing the game plan on Yao while acknowledging the efforts of his other stars, keeping them happy. Case in point: This season couldn't have me more excited.
