Are you kidding me? They're still around? I remember seeing their first shows in Houston at Fitzgeralds (downstairs) back in 1990 or so. They've got to be pretty old now.

i record on tascam 2488 and than dump onto my computer to do wave editing/mixing. i am frantically trying to finish recording an "album" of christmas songs. i thought about doing it back in september and kept putting it off till thanksgiving, so now im feeling the crunch. these days, you dont need expensive, sophisticated equipment/programs to make music - get a decent mike, soundcard and program (cakewalk is nice, cheap and easy) and have fun! if you have musician friends who might have a program, just see if you can "borrow" from them and install on your computer. i have a few good programs and i havent paid one cent for them - sometimes freedom IS free!
and now: Ryan Adams Live @ Das Haus on 2006-10-17 (October 17, 2006), Ludwigshafen, Germany archive.org is your friend.

I got a ton of music I'm listening to nowadays. I still haven't been able to appreciate the voice of Joanna Newsom as yet. Still kinda weird to me. Other acts I'm listening to: The Shins- Wincing the Night Away (2007 release) great, great album Bloc Party- A Weekend in the City (2007 release)- somewhat of a disappointment (don't think its on Oink as yet) LCD Soundsystem- Original Run-- 45 minutes of pure bliss when I am on my daily jog The Kooks- Inside In, Inside Out-- hailed as the new Arctic Monkeys Junior Boys- Last Exit
Unknown Hinson - Target Practice 2006 The man is a genius. Pando.com has added a new feature. You can upload files to their server and get an IM or embedded link that will allow your invited guests to download the files up to 1 GB. I don't know how Clutch feels about it (or the RIAA) but I'll put this one song file up and see how it goes. It's not really any different than a Youtube link . <a href="http://cache.pando.com/soapservices/package.pando?id=7304AD1CCE43722FB5E5751228890FAE45AF42A2&key=C3A07AABD73A43F297F55F68FB2C195944949333E5451FBC59C1F690F91183CC"><img src="http://cache.pando.com/soapservices/SendToWeb/7304AD1CCE43722FB5E5751228890FAE45AF42A2/Preview.png" border="0" width="292" height="76" alt="Pando Package"/></a>
OK when I try my own link I get the message that the file is corrupted (it's not) but I'm not going to jack with it any more because it's 6 in the morning and I have to go to work. Also, I have a feeling Clutch won't dig embedded sound files and I'll wait for the crew to weigh in on the issue before I post any more. But go out there and sample some Unknown Hinson..it sounds way country on the face of it but the humor is pure cuttung edge..and the man can really play.
What do the black keys sound like? I've heard of them, just havent listened to em. Something I should check out?
