T-Mac = Bad mother****er. Seriously, this is big. It's awesome to hear your best player take responsibility for a loss, even if it isn't his fault.
i'm glad to hear that they intended to foul. i think it's pretty obvious that tmac wasnt deliberately disobeying van gundy, he just got thrown off when he saw webber turn around with the ball in his hands, and probably didnt want to take a chance on fouling him when he was in the act of shooting, and instinct just took over. they had a good-designing play and webber made a tough, clutch shot. it softens the blow a little for me to hear that though. and, bottom line is, after 5, 6 years, it looks like we've finally at least caught up to the Kings.
if Steve "the franchise": yeah I know coach whats to foul, I just felt like I could've blocked CWebb's shot. I played well the entire game, I puts up great numbers for my team, it just didn't go our way at the end. I think it's no one's fault, it just happened. I think we're still the best team, we'll get them next time.
It's good to hear Tracy talk like this....first sign of starting to become a leader and a vocal person on the team is not only taking the praise when you come up big and win, but taking the defeats and the blame when it needs to be taken for making a mistake or anything like that. Good sign in my opinion.
Thanks for vid my hero, but for some reason I cannot download it right now. btw do you happen to have that VC clip you were talking about last night during the chat? many thanks.
I was wondering why there was no foul, I was cussing JVG for this loss. You have to foul teams like the Kings, Suns and Mavs that knock down the three. I didn't think JVG called it in the huddle because the Rox weren't right up on the Kings to foul as soon as they touched the ball, it looked like they set space to defend not foul.
As I was watching that last series unfold, it really was Tracy that got totally thrown by the fake pass. It's nice that he steps up and admits it. BUT in other news.....the whole game was an example of TOTALLY ugly basketball by the Rockets. It hurt to watch.
