Macjag was banned, but I don't know why. That is what I heard.

 

He hasn't been around in over a year I think and people are still talking about him.

If he was lying, he certainly accomplished what he wanted.

 

I thought he was banned for excessively long posts.

 

He's still here ~ he just posts with a different name.

 

i actually like the posts of Macbeth, he wrote great posts and he was a pretty smart guy(especially politically).

ok enough about macbeth. Lets not derail this thread, this thread is just starting to become legendary.
I do not think this stiry is lied, why would he? it is not like he is looking like a superstar because of this thread

According to a couple emails I got from him, he was banned and he doesn't know why.

I'm embarassed for the people who doubt on these sorts of threads for no good reason. It's just a reflection on them that they find this stuff so unbelievable. So many crazy things have happened in my life (ones that dwarf JAG's p*rn thread or this one here) that I've never posted here, that I have no problem at all believing them. I'm not saying either story is definitely true - how could I know - but the ones who believe definitively that they're lies must lead incredibly dull lives. We're not all internet geeks posting from our parents' basements. p*rn stars do actually date people and people do actually pick up crazy chicks at bus stops.

He posts a lot on RealGM nowadays...Toronto fan. Tries to keep up the same persona (under a different name..."Harry Palmer"...)

Just because you sympathize with what his persona on this BBS claimed to be its political viewpoint does not mean you need to defend him despite all the lies.

 

So MacJag has different personas floating around out there? How many of you are posting as "personas" instead of yourselves? (like you're ever going to answer that )

be careful. Don't get yourself seriously assaulted or hurt just to provide entertainment for the bbs. Again, if any of this is true, the chick is kind of crazy and that's nothing compared to how crazy the Batman is.

 

I seriously doubt that. Sir Jackie's some kind of weird MacBeth stalker. He characterized everything MB posted as a lie and accused him of having a made up persona for inexplicable weird reasons of his own. Nobody ever caught MB in a lie or even a fib and no one ever had any reason to doubt anything he posted, except that he had some wild stories and, I don't know, maybe people with more boring lives can't accept that someone might have an interesting one. Don't take SJC's word about MB. He was as obsessed with bashing MB as he is with slobbering all over Jorge. I emailed with MacBeth plenty. He was the same in email as he was here. A nice (if longwinded) guy.

I said "maybe." I'm just guessing as to why so many jump to the 'superior' pose of skepticism. I mean, especially in this thread. What in God's name is unbelievable here? It's nothing but a wild story. The world is full of them. I've asked several times for anyone to post a reason to believe JAG had been lying before (about anything) since so many seem to take it as gospel he was. I've gotten zero responses. And here's SJC again, saying he lied as though it was a proven thing. It's boring as hell.

I don't get it. MacBeth was an entertaining and interesting guy, as far as I was concerned, and I wish he was still around posting his essays. Sure, he could get you irritated. I imagine I do the same to some people. So what? No one had to read his posts. (or read mine)

As for wild stories, I agree Batman... some of us have some true ones to tell, and choose not to. Would we be believed? And why should we care? I've told too many things about myself here that I'm sure I should have kept in the vault. I choose to believe Jag, and I believe 3814. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

That's right, Deck. I couldn't care less if my true life stories would be believed -- I just don't think it would be appropriate to share them with strangers. Anybody that wants to hear some of them in a bar is welcome to ask. The assumption that people are lying here says more about the accusers than the accused.
