    Lemme tell ya....

    I used to work someplace where a hispanic gentleman came by every now and then with an igloo cooler filled with hot beef brisket tamales, and.... dude.....I have never had a tamale that has ever come close to being as good as those. I like tamales, but.... DAMN..... those were some amazing tamales.

    i like my tamales wrapped with banana leaves and not corn husk. Check that, both are delicious.

    That would NOT taste good for Thanksgiving!

    Ya know... my dad had a heart attach on Christmas day two years ago. After eating a big meal of ham and mashed potatoes, we adjourned to the living room and he started having a heart attack. He went into the bathroom and was there for a LONG time. Thankfully, my mom went in to check up on him. Took him to the hospital. It was a cardiac arrest. He lived through it.

    Gotta love that holiday food!

    my mom makes the best creamed corn thing.. delicious. I told her to make a bucket of it this year. and stuffing of course, with juicy turkey breast. mmmmmmmmmmmm
