Good luck B, hoping good news for you guys. :)

My Thanksgiving will be at my parents house. Ham, turkey, twice baked potatoes, deviled eggs, stuffing....can't wait! Along with a nice dose of passive aggressive behavior from my mom and sister-in-law. Nothing like the holidays! :)

Again, best of luck Groogrux and a hearty congratulations to you and your family. I'd venture a guess that there's no way to have a better thanksgiving than that.

Usually we have Thanksgiving lunch over at my parents' house. It's me, my wife, 2 kids, my mom and dad, and my sister, her husband, and son. My mom promised that she wouldn't cook as much but she can't help it - she loves this day!

We had turkey, ham, pork tender loin, dressing, jello salad, rolls, rice, green beans, cheese, some casserole dish, cranberry sauce, and a couple of other things. I am not a big veggie person at all so I ate mainly pork tender loin along with dressing and rolls. There were chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cup cookies - it was one of the best Thanksgiving meals I have had.

My wife's family usually doesn't do anything although sometimes that isn't the case. Her grandmother usually tries to do something but we decided to go to my parents instead. My wife said that she wanted to go to her grandmother's next year but we'll see if that really happens.

Not much of a Thanksgiving. One of my aunts was hospitalized with spasms in her right arm. While at the hospital we discovered she has bed bugs too. She lives alone but since she rode with me to the hospital I promptly put all of my clothes in the dryer for half an hour. Anyway got a bunch of stuffing and a sweet potato pie waiting to be eaten.
