Thank you, Houston Rockets. All these games brought me so much joy, and I hope this is the start of something big. I will never forget this, every moment was memorable. It's sad to see this streak coming to an end but it had to happen. Please don't lose faith, we still believe in you guys. Proud to be a Rockets fan, Keivan
Thank You Houston Rockets...you have made me believe in the team concept again. You have made me believe in the lost form of hustle, passing, teamwork, chemistry. Tonight the level of talent was not there, but everything else was. More often than not that sort of effort will win games. This is the sort of heart I always wished my Rockets team had again, they've found it give it some time next year with Yao the league is ours for the taking
I dont know about a standing O, but the Rockets got a rousing ovation when they walked off the floor.
It's sad how empty the TC was at the end. At least show some love for what they have managed to do the last 2 months. Thanks, Rockets. Let's finish strong now.
Thank you Rockets! This is just RA's first season! And next season when Yao come back, then we will thanks Rockets for getting the championship!
It was the most amazing thing that I have ever witnessed, the passion, the hustle, the teamwork, the unselfishness, everything. It should be inspirational to us all, that if you work hard, you work together, you will succeed. Thanks for the ride. It was fun.
It's kind of hard to applaud a team that loses...but I think the team deserved one. So we lost to the best team in the league...big deal. 22 straight will never happen again (most likely) and this is how you treat the team that did it? Tough love. I think Kings lost their last regular season game a while ago but the fans applauded them. They didn't even make the playoffs. Standing ovation. That's dedication!
Yes, this has been something I will never forget. Thank you Rockets..and thank you clutchfans..It has been great run.
Very proud to see the guys fighting as a team in the last two months. Special thanks go to JVD for lefting us with such valuable defense, that was what essentially brought us this far. And, who said we don't need Yao??
cmon guys, even the defending champs lost to them even with their complete lineup...besides streaks never last forever
Alas, 23 in a row was not meant to be. Screw it, we lost against the best that the NBA has to offer at the moment. Much props to the Celtics who clearly demonstrated why they have the top record in the league. I still hate their freaking guts though and can clearly state with much conviction that we would have killed them with Yao. I gotta say that I'm still damn proud of this team which came together after losing Yao for the season and showed the world that we are still a force to be reckoned with. This defeat does not impede or destroy our chances for reaching the Finals but rather it will motivate the team to continue to work hard and continue to fight it out for the remainder of the season. No one said it would be easy but I truly believe that this team has what it takes to advance farther than what the mainstream media (and some on this board) are predicting.
It had to end sometime. 22 wins in a row by a team out-talented on most nights is a remarkable feat. I am just hoping they dont get too down on themselves and lose focus in next couple of very hard games.
I knew we had to go down eventually, I just was hoping not like this. Hey, at least it wasn't a close loss, that might actually been worse.
No shame. I am super-proud of what this team has done. And it is a good learning lesson. I think Morrey is gonna scrap that moneyball stuff for a moment and get us a solid big man.
