Man! I made it mandatory that anyone I took to a game go there first before the game. Thanks for the good times Stack!

Sorry to hear that man, always tried to stop by when me and the wife were in town for a game.

    Sorry to hear that.

I think I've been there a few times for fraternity/sorority parties.

Didn't you allow sororities/fraternities to throw a party at Live?

I'm sorry to hear about this as well...

I only remember going to Live once, it was for my birthday and one of my friends got this one girl to give me a lap dance. I remember being really nervous, because i was such a dork back then.

But anyways, I wish you luck in your future endeavors!

Damn that sucks. Best wishes in your future endeavors, Stack.

    My favorite memories...

The Carl Hayn and the Holdouts show there 3 years ago (and the ensuing drunken fistfight).

Being there on NBA opening night 2004/Election night 2004 with RM95 and Buck Turgidson. I think JBIII was there as well.

I visited your place a few times before Rockets games to show love to a fellow CF'er. It was nice joint and good luck in any future endeavors. I'm sure if you make a similar place in a new better location it will prosper. Good luck.

Miguel told me last night, but i was asleep.

Didn't get all the details, but that's ok.

It was a great place to go before games during the playoffs.

Hard to limit this to one memory, but probably a night when we watched the Rockets/Lakers game. It was a Saturday I think and there were a club full of people trying to get their groove on as we were watching the game.

I have a ton of memories of Live and it is going to suck not having it around. I used to try to go everytime I was downtown.

Although I've never gone to watch a Rockets game... I have been there countless times during my years in college for many club parties. I love the $20 fishbowls, we would have some fun nights there

    VERY saddened to hear this!

I walked right past Live last night (as I do frequently) and certainly would have stopped in for a drink if I had known it was your last night.

    Huge bummer!

Man, I used to go to Live all the time back when they had Asian parties there in '03/'04, I think.

I caught a few friends' bands there, too.

Great place. You'll be sorely missed! :(

Aw man that sucks to hear. :(

I always liked going there before a game, or just to chill while downtown.

I took Shannon there for kind of a "birthday" lunch right after Ike, since we couldn't really find anywhere else.

I remember first meeting Yoyo, DaDakota, Master Baiter and several other cats there.

I especially remember Yoyo ordering the Tom Collins and both the waitress and the bartender not knowing what the hell he was talking about.

Also it was really fun back in like Week 3 or whatever just chilling with you Stack while we were watching the Cardinals-Jets game hoping for more fantasy points out of Warner and Fitzgerald. ;)

You're a swell guy, gonna miss having a place for Rockets fans to chill.

Oh man, of all my times there, I never got a chance to meet you Stack. It was always Ahmed, Alex, Ali, Juice (best door guy ever!) George (NightFunctions) and his crew.

I will say....I had some great times there, especially when MBar was open next door. Those days were pure insanity.

Sad to hear. Live will be missed in my book. Guess this officially closes my Downtown days.

One question.......Tell me you guys are heading to Midtown?

terrible news... was never a regular, but went on a few occasions and always enjoyed it. The wife will be sad to hear the news as well. Pregame celebrations during the playoffs there were off the hook good times.

Best of luck in future endeavors.

a little late to the farewell here

Mig gave me the news also, sucks to hear, I was actually pissed that Mig didn't tell me sooner, would've gone out there also

have lots of fond memories there, it was the usual meeting spot whenever I we had the groups.First went during April 1st, 2004 for the viewing party vs. the Lakers, funny thing, Mig/dskillz were there before I even knew them (the pics are still on the website), first game of the '04 playoffs which I stayed there till halftime, then my car got towed cause I parked where I shouldn't have parked, the time we meet DaDa before the number 19 win last year, plus the numerous times we went during the Playoffs.

Very much appreciated Stack for hooking me and the rest of the guys every time we were there.

Going to miss the hangouts there, and even Kam brought it up, it was priceless when 8-9 of us were in the back of Kam's truck on the way to Game 2 last year, good times....

if you ever choose to open another restaurant business, you know you'll have a cult audience/following right behind you :)
