Professional media is an oxymoron.

 

Markkanen got 3 votes over the likes of Jokic, Durant, Lebron, Kawhi and AD.

 

If they want to vote like fans, move them into the fan vote category.

he didn't vote him as a starter. He has no say for reserves. Sengun has had a good year so far but at the end of the day there's a number of other more deserving candidates so there's that

Sengun keeps this up, he'll have plenty of opportunities to be a starter years down the line especially as his popularity builds up. This year ain't it

 

Media shouldn't get a separate vote, especially since it's just for starters. It's silly. There's already the All NBA for media voting.

 

I'm not surprised after reading some of his off-season trade proposals

 

well folks hated it when the starters were 100% all fan voting. There was always outrage when that system was in place. Now it's 50%. 25% media and 25% players.

I guess folks will never be satisfied any way

As far as starters they got it right outside of Dame but plenty would argue that he should be there. Everyone else definitely deserves to be a starter

I mean, Iko is clearly not a Sengun truther but can't be mad that he doesn't think he deserves to be a starter. Honestly, he is not there yet but he does deserve to be a reserve.

 

You're too late. He already made the top of that list with his article justifying starting Bruno Fernando (lol) over Alperen Sengun.

 

I didn’t realize they only vote for starters, that makes way more sense. Sengun has no business getting votes to be a starter so 0 is the correct number.

 

Brunson easily is more deserving over Dame. But Brunson will have no issue being named a reserve. He's basically a lock for it
