with chaos going on all around the rockets...injuries, a tough schedule, yao minute limitation etc...thank goodness we have rick at the helm. poised, tough competitor, who always keeps his team in the game. great job vs. lakers and the spurs rick!! we sometimes forget how lucky we are to have him here in h-town with his solid, steady leadership!!

The one positive of being 0-5... the more in continues the more likely he gets fired and we can get someone who knows how to coach IN A GAME! Seriously Mike Brown could probably even draw up better late game plays that Adelman could.

Oh yeah, Rick, you mean the silent guy on the sidelines with his arms folded as Tim Duncan is in the lane for 5 seconds on the go ahead bucket in OT?

    That Rick?

    PFFT...yeah great.

no other coach in the nba would have had his team in the game tonight other than rick adelman...how can you not see that. he masterfully manipulated the game in the rockets favor tonight and its certainly not his fault that lee missed both free throws!!

when rick leaves, you will then only know how good we have had it here!!

You don't watch a lot of Rockets ball do you? No superstar in this team means no calls home or away.

Yes thanks to Rick for sitting on the bench looking like he had a stroke. He has the best 4th quarter plays ever!

    I did actually LOL.

Even if this was true.. whats the point of getting back in the game to just completely make a mess of every attempt at late game plays while putting terrible lineups. Seriously hes been here a few years now... find me one good late play he has called that worked? and someone getting off a lucky shot under pressure is not a good play... even if it does go in.

Agreed. Adelman put the players in a position to win.

We SHOULD have won this game. Just a couple of missed free throws and dumb turnovers kept it away from us.

What I dont understand is if the Rockets where even trying to run the offense late in the game. Also, why not go to Scola late in the game. He is the only one capable of creating his own shot. Instead, we had to watch Ish jackup a bunch of floaters.
