Any advice? The answer is obvious.... Scalp those tickets for as much as possible!!! Seriously though, enjoy the game!
Jealous! I'm going to the game too, but I'm all the way back in the second to last row You'll still hear me, though.
DC represent! I was searching for tickets too and I couldn't find any good seats for a reasonable price. Take me instead of your son? You'll have more fun with me.
Don't forget to make a C (for Clutchfans) when the camera pans on you. Enjoy the game with your son. Taking my son to see a game was one of the most memorable times of my life.
Asian-American dude right across the aisle from us (row AA, right front of the section behind the Rockets bench) asked if I was from/on ClutchFans. I asked him for his alias, couldn't hear, but I think he said he doesn't post. Unmask yourself, mystery fan!
I'm pretty sure they showed you on TV early in the 1st quarter. Did you and your son both have Harden Beards and were you wearing a grey shirt sitting right behind the scorers table? Anyway, glad you guys got to see a win!
Yeah, that was us. Sadly, it seems ABC never once showed our "MVP" signs. We had them out a few times, and I thought for sure they'd show us at the end, when Harden made that tremendous block about 10 feet from us. We were up with the M and V and P for what must have been 20 seconds. I think TNT/TBS has more fun with that kind of fan stuff. But ABC just stuck with their narrow shot of the play. Also, TBH, Harden didn't have his greatest game, so we didn't have as many opportunities to throw up the "MVP" as we'd hoped. Nicest guy on the team, for my money, was Corey Brewer, who gave us a smile back when my son shouted out for him. I have a gazillion photos and some videos on my phone, but I gotta do some work now. Will upload a few of them later.
I saw you guys! I saw a guy and his son with some DIY Harden beards! Cheers, Will. I don't know you but I know a super-psyched Daddy's face when I see one! 2nd seed. Good times!
Hopefully you recorded the game or someone has a screen shot of you and your son. Great experience for you guys.
