It was fun at first but I would rather post and discuss things then try to put other people down. I have never had any problems with anyone since I have been here and I don't want any now.     Wait...so only the big metro areas charge $40 now to inspect your car? What a joke. So I could just go somewhere outside Houston (College Station, for example) and save $30 bucks?

    I don't know if it is true you can just go outside of the Metro area. I had a Supra Turbo before and it was failing the Houston Emission test so I took it to Fort bend (before they were required to do the emission test also) and they told me my address on my drivers license had to be in the Ft. Bend county to prove that I lived there.

    Illegal Emmissions are not really checked here in the valley...with all the Mexican gas fumes here in the valley, it should be interesting to see how they attempt to smog test here.

    I have My Houston address on my DL, and yet I just got it done in College Station. That sounds kind of bogus for them to say something like that.

    I sure hope they don't make it a state wide raise to $40. That would suck. My wallet it going to be quite empty later this week till my next pay check. Damn scam...
