I BRING HATE This expresses my feelings the best In 2002, the Texans' debut season, the team featured the league's 16th-rated defense, a level Houston hasn't reached since then. And Carr, who usually gets the best view of the Reliant Stadium roof when the retractable dome is closed, was sacked 76 times. So much for helping the poor guy out. Giving him a playmaker the ilk of Bush -- now that would have been a gesture of aid.~espn All these people saying "Oh snap we are die hard texans fans oh yea baby" the Texans is a 4 year old how can you throw your fanlife on a new born franchise like that out of the blue? My feelings from the past with my beloved Rockets and Astros has shown me that you need to get to know them to appriciate the love you deeply have for the team and become a die hard fan, and right now I don't know the ****ing texans, No sir I dont know them at all. We are not looking eye to eye at the moment, we are not even on the same street! The Texans right now to me are allll the way on MONTROSE, there you have it, I said it, this franchise is gay at the moment
this blows donkey d!ck. Super Mario isn't Dwight Freeney or somebody with a high motor. He's a randy moss of DE.
Randy Moss? The one who took the league by storm his first 6 years, and basically forced every defense to focus its game plan on him? Randy only became what he is today based on a.) his previous success, b.) his frustration that he couldn't get the damn ball because every team tried their hardest to neutralize this amazing talent. Frankly, Reggie Bush (if he turns out as great as he was in college) has a chance to duplicate Moss' career, basically because he will be shut down by teams that force somebody else to beat them.
Cause its part of being a fan....your here, through thick and thin. Ive been here since day one. If this franchise turns out to be the NFL's version of the hapless Clippers, I will still be here. If this franchise turns out to be the next NFL Dynasty from here on, I will still be here. Ask any real fan that...Packer fans, Steeler fans, Chiefs fans......youll get the same answer. You either go down with the ship....or jump off the ship and save face. For me, Im go down like the highway to hell brotha..... Go Texans
Ditto. I never really took to the Oilers as a kid, and I started watching the Chiefs and became a fan of them. The day the Texans were announced I instantly had 2 teams, with no way I could possibly dump one of them. No giving up on my teams. God help me if they ever meet in the playoffs.
No defensive player that has ever been picked #1 overall has done anything in the past 20 years or so
I can't speak for all fans, but as for me, I'm a HOUSTON fan. It's the city that I was born in and love, and since the Rockets/Oilers-Texans/Astros all represent Houston, I will be a loyal fan until the day I die. For me it doesn't matter how long a particular team has been in existence, they will always have my support if they are in Houston.
And that's even more true in a Kubiak system...RB's are a dime a dozen. We need an anchor for the defense and I think Mario will be just fine. Now, if only Youboty drops to us in the 2nd round.
just be ready to pick first next year too.... carr must be pissed right now casserly is gonna blame his pick on koobs
oh, i can guarantee that will happen. in fact, i'd be surprised if he isn't already distancing himself from it that way. but he just might be right this time. this may be kubiak's call. particularly if the rumors about casserly leaving are correct...making him nothing more than the mouthpiece for the franchise this weekend.
You cut it off before mentioning Bruce Smith in 1985. He played 18 years and went to 11 pro bowls and four Super Bowls. These kind of statistics are meaningless.
