Think about how Morey was graded at the beginning of the season and again at the trade deadline and think about who's laughing now. They called Harden soft and said he was a one-way player. Now they're calling him the MVP or runner-up. My point is that this team has overachieved at basically every level and anyone that's not happy with how things have worked out for us this year just doesn't know how to be happy.
At first I was like..... ....good job jinxing McHale right before the playoffs. But then I was like.... ....how can you jinx when its already broken?
Ok. But just for the record there are plenty of Mcfail haters like myself that believe Morey is da based god and harden is a true MVP.
naaah, I'm not buying it. Imagine what Pop would've done with the amount of talent we have on this team. Yes I said it, making me believe we actually underachieved with who we have as a coach. Either way, amazing season, but that doesn't make McHale a legitimate coach; talent just overcame mediocre coaching. But, thank you James Harden, not McHale.
I'll thank Kevin McHale when we reach the conference finals, lol. All about the playoffs when judging coaches of talented teams IMO.
Harden is the main reason the Rox are where they are this season. Harden absolutely elevated his game this year and is a legit superstar and top 5 player. This team goes as Harden goes pretty much. I will give credit to McHale for finally benching Dorsey and going with Capella.
There is a time to argue this, and there is a time to give it up and CHEER GO ROCKETS! pause the hating and CHEER
Because I wanted to see what I already knew was going to happen- people wanting Popovich fired. Amazing.
Thank you James Harden for the 56 wins this season despite having a cheer leader masquerading as a coach in McHale If McHale is a real coach, his job starts now in the playoffs I expect nothing less than a WCF finals appearance I have revised my expectations down for McHale. Any other coach and this roster i would expect the NBA finals
He's done great. If you had listed off the injuries that have happened and the end result, I would have asked you if we inexplicably signed Popovich midyear.
The regular season record is thanks to an MVP caliber season by James Harden. McHale will show what he's worth in the playoffs.
