Well, they are building the third and least politically accountable branch of the federal government; so I think they're entitled, almost obligated, to ask questions. At least it doesn't cost a billion dollars worth of first-class lodging and airfare, along with a year's helping of bald-faced lying, petty bickering and ghost-written speeches.

 

To be honest, I have never watched the Daily Show, just the Colbert Report.

 

How is that possible?

Colbert is a spinoff of the Daily Show.

 

Well, I'm sure some people watched "Good Times", "The Jeffersons" or "Maude" without having ever seen "All in the Family."

Or faithfully followed "The Ropers" and "Three's A Crowd" but never saw "Three's Company."

Or dutifully tracked "Mama's Family," but had no time for "The Carol Burnett Show."

Or got their Joe Isuzu fix on "Empty Nest," but were oblivious to the "Golden Girls."

Or worshipped at the altar of "Xena: Warrior Princess," with nary an eye for "Hercules: the Legendary Journeys."

Or tuned in to "Sons of Thunder" but had no interest in "Walker, Texas Ranger."

Or saw "Family Matters" while missing "Perfect Strangers."

Or watched "Vinnie and Bobby" without having ever caught "Married With Children."

 

I don't think anyone who didn't like Married w/ Children watched Vinnie and Bobby.
