Regardless of where you stand on gun control, what kind of soulless scum sucker would you have to be to use the tragedy in Paris as a political talking point.

I don't know what going into the minds of radical conservatives. i truly don't.

Only a true piece of **** would use this opportunity to push their agenda. Especially while the tragedy is still occurring.

How many people died from mass shootings in the USA this year? How many people die from daily shootings in the USA each day? A lot more than any terrorist attack.

Literally every single thread on clutchfans with a shooting has highly sarcastic, highly political comments about gun control on the first page. Feel free to criticize those people.

It might be because it happens so often that they're responding to the previous incident(s).

Absolute hilarity. A guy shoots up a Oregon campus and hours later, the president boldly gets up stating we need to politicize it.

The OP calls this radical. He might be onto something.

It's about their tribe retaining the top position in socio/economics. In their minds you don't stay on top by extending opportunities, you deny them. As always, it's pretty standard human nature. But the problem is, the egalitarian identity promoted by US 'patriotism' requires some cognitive dissonance on their part to be "American" and still be discriminatory. The position defies logic and requires illogic, i.e. craziness.

To better ensure their privilege, more craziness is better.

And the Dems don't do this same thing after any shootings here in the US?

    Exactly.

OP, you fail to realize this happens all the time in the US.
