It was a hell of a ride. These last two years have really made appreciate baseball even more after watching this town get taken over by Astros fever. They came up short, but I'm really proud of the Stros. Great season.
What a season its been. I remember sitting in my dorm room last school year watching opening day v. the Red Birds. Seeing names like Scott and Taveras and Lane take the field. Still feeling the sting from Beltran, Kent and an injured Berkman. I remember getting the chronicle that day when the team was left for dead. I remember How we fought our way back to .500 to go into the all star break. I remember so mcuh about this season, I could go on and on. I'll always remember this season and this team. I thought I'd be so heartbroken after last nights game, and I was...but after a little while I just looked back and thanked this team for giving everything they had. You guys...we were able to see playoff baseball for 2 months. Thats how everygame was approached by these guys and I love them for it. I cant wait for 2006. Clemens or no clemens, I think this team is going to get another pitcher and a power hitting OF. (Giles, Dunn, Hidalgo*) Thanks Astros for taking an entire city on a ride they'll never forget. * Just kidding about Dalgy!!
Good season, 'stros. Over-achieved and surpassed expectations. Well played, all. Now mgmt & Drayton, go shopping and get you some new bats!

Congrats Asros ONE MORE THINGS as I hear so many fans on the Radio saying that we should not be second guessing or critisizing their play in the WS . . . I think . . . maybe not the players but at least the fans. . . we Just Happy to Be here To win it. . . we need to be HUNGRIER Rocket River Vandy and Rich of course were RIPPING the Astro Fans for not being GOOD fans
