How in the world did you figure that? Without the assets from the past two lottery picks, the Rockets don't have Eddie Griffin. If the Rockets made the playoffs, they don't pick 13th, or 14th for that matter... in fact they would have picked around 17 or 18 -- and probably would have had to send that pick to Vancouver as a result. Ballgame. So explain again how first round playoff exit followed by the addition of Jason Collins would have boosted the rebuilding process as Eddie Griffin did? ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
I agree that getting Griffin is definitely poetic justice for playing hard all year. Also, tanking has proven successful for some teams. See 1983-84 Rockets to get another #1 pick (and leading to the lottery system); see also 1996-97 Spurs to get a good chance at Duncan (Popovich's cheating ass! TD should have been in Celtics green) Off the subject, can someone PLEASE tell me how to "quote" other posters and how to insert comments to those quotes point-by-point? I just can't seem to figure it out. ------------------
Uh Red, "your" should actually be "you're" in this case. Yes it was a bloody joke. I think everyone here knows that I want to win NOW. I have no patience, and I don't see why I should. ------------------ Protrolls.com! "I want to be like Olajon." -Sagana Diop has the right idea...
