I don't follow the Cards very closely, but just looking at his stats, he had terrific numbers last year...16-17 for a 94%. In the playoffs, he missed the game winner vs the Packers and a 50+ yarder vs the Saints but besides that he was more then solid. I am very happy with the acquisition and if this gets Kris Brown back on track good, if Rackers ends up being our Kicker then perfect too. Looks like a win-win situation, good signing.
Sorry, but beyond the missing comma before "and" and the omitted comma at the end there are no grammatical errors in that particular sentence.
interesting. Kris Brown is a good kicker but he def got Lidge syndrome last year. But once you get known for missing clutch kicks, it's hard to shake that rep

So, the only options are "headed to the Super bowl" and "morons", with nothing in between? Statements like this are why hardly anyone takes your posts seriously... ...despite your keen sense of humor. (that was funny!)
It's a smart move. I said so earlier in the thread. I want to see THE BEST kicker get the job and this will be a damn good competition. I thought you were calling me out so I responded
Rackers last year had a groin injury around season's end. They brought in another kicker until he was healthy enough to kick for the playoffs. If the groin is healthy (no reason why it shouldnt be), if you want to replace Kris Brown this is as good an option as you'll find.
I wasn't calling out people but any and all "front office are morons" posts, yours included. That said, kudos for giving them credit where it's due.
I meant that he is saying "will be" for future, and he is saying Neil "is" for that time. Does that make sense? I do not think so. Nah. You're good.* This shall upset internet bully mr. moes even more.
I'm well aware of what you meant, sir. It's just that you are incorrect. Rackers *is* the best kicker; as such he *will win* the competition this fall. Completely appropriate use of tense; they do not have to agree as they do not share the same subject ("the best kicker", "that").
well the cardinals signed Jay Feely, but I still think Rackers is the best between Feely, Brown and him.
Technically since there are only two participants use of the superlative "best" in "best kicker" is incorrect. It should have read "better kicker," using the comparative form. Buy your tickets to Dallas now people! And I'm not talking about the regular season game!
