No idea about Freeman, but anecdotally... one strange phenomenon I've noticed on social media is the gradual expanding of social circles. Everyone piles on with regards to photos showing a lack of distancing in a bar, or at the beach, etc. Which I understand. But whereas most people in March or April seemed to keep to a tight circle of 2-4 people, now those same people are having a lot more gatherings in the 10-12 range in June and July. It seems like a lot of people rationalize it as being okay, if it's their family or close friends, because they "trust" them. But for the most part, unless someone is being reckless (i.e. showing total disregard to distancing, masks, etc.), it's all fairly random. Doesn't matter if someone is a "good guy" or not. All you can do to minimize risk is control the number of people that you're around. From my experience, there are a lot of folks who participate in viral social media shaming while simultaneously not doing the most basic things that they can control. Not saying that applies to any specific athlete, just a general observation.
Okay this makes sense. Increasing social circles sounds like a recipe for more widespread transmission. On another note, how could someone think going to a bar is safe at all??? You are in confined spaces with strangers.
