Very possible, I just find it hard to believe that DM and thabeet are in the same restaurant on the same night and a rockets fan is close by just to hear the snippet of him being a big part of the team. I gather from the OP that they were sitting down together having a nice chat. If they were there on separate agendas, why would DM take the time to sit down and chat with him? If he goes to the aquarium, he is probably with his kids (who else really likes the aquarium besides kids...?), and I doubt he takes time away from his kids to go congratulate a draft pick and sit down and chat. Daryl probably tries to spend most of the time he can with his kids. I know when I was sitting by him at the rockets games this season, his family was there too. His kids actually were the miniclutches in a challenge. Just me assuming. (and you know what happens when you assume...yadayadaya).

I think if Morey was there, he'd take a few mins to meet with Thabeet. Just to give him a good impression of our organization. Yeah though, if the two are sitting down and talking...then it sounds to me there would be a trade. Only thing we know for sure is that Thabeet was at the aquarium. Then he went to the galleria lol.
