Now Landry and AB r a who differant story we can get anyplayer with landry and AB bt dorsey i dont think so .. I know the that grizz are taking all the right steps to get to the playoff this year and be major contenders next year trading dorsey for thabeet ..

No GM would take that ugly deal even Mike Dunleavy Sr. or Don Nelson .. sometime Rox fans really become unrealstic ..

After Thabeet's father died, Thabeet removed his last name and took his middle name as his last. Before attending UConn, As a senior in 2005-06 at Cypress Christian High School in Houston, Texas, he averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks per game.

he has ROOTS in Houston... he was possibly just visiting.....

MODS, please negatively rep XOMOX. This type of behavior cannot be encouraged.

FLASH "Rockets want Thabeet. Ask Grizzlies for permission to talk with him." That would be a news worthy item that would have been reported in the Memphis and Houston news don't you think. We wouldn't be reading it first on the GARM.

That was a great summer. Late that spring was when I discovered the site (which had another name, as you remember!) and lurked during the whole period. There were, what, about 3500 members? Maybe less. It was quite a different atmosphere here.

And rockHEAD had pics, thus "The rockHEAD Rule!" With Francis, Rocketsfan34 became "The Mall Guy," and entered ClutchFans history forever. Popeye helped solidify his insider rep by confirming it. Good times!

Man, I was really hoping this was true, ugh, well we can still speculate... i wonder what it would take to land Thabeet here,hmm.....but truth be said i would prefer if we made some sort of trade to land the rights of ricky rubio, i heard alot of his endorsers will be paying off the bayout in order to get him here, but it does seem the people in minn want him to play there, so I dont really see a trade in the works.... the only way i see something happen is if rubio himself, says that he doesnt want to play for minn. forcing a trade out of there....which i hope will happen:D

the mods do I fine job of policing this site on their own. they don't need people telling them what is and is not acceptable every time a rumor falls through.

I'm not sure why this is so hard to imagine.

Post-draft, did Morey not say he made failed attempts to jockey into the 2nd pick to nab thabeet anyway?

I agree, so far he probably is one of the biggest busts in a draft full of bust potential; however, as it has been stated already, what team is more ready to groom a kid like Thabeet.

    Dream, Mutumbo, Yao....

not a bad set of profs.
