Text messaging

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I have unlimited data with AT&T, and yet I still have to pay for texting.

 

With the Sprint Sero plan, I get 500 mins, free txt and data for 30 bucks/month.

I got a grudge out against you man, but its not moestavern19 or Manny Ramirez type shiznit, just didn't like the way you called me out in one thread a while back if that rings a bell.

 

I love texting because I abhor talking on the phone.

 

My gf and I text and talk on the phone to each other simultaneously. I'm not kidding. Blame her.

stupid 1 word texts...

 

I find texting very useful when I need to tell someone something that isn't necessarily urgent...especially when it's something that should be quick, but making a call would end up taking a few minutes instead of the half-minute it takes to text.

By the way, for those of you complaining about the .15 to text, I'm pretty sure you can have all text messaging blocked if you get with your service provider.

 

I hate the spam txts that ppl send me. It's always something stupid like [summarized] "Jesus loves you, send this to all your friends if you love Jesus"

Then I reply with who is Jesus? I love you, can I send this back to you?" and I'd get no reply. Douche! Keep the spams on emails, not our cells.

 

It's cool I've chilled out now - It was some actions I took a while back (an infamous [VENTING] thread that was on here). You made some comments about it in another thread that I started but I'm cool now. Thanks for your understanding - I grew up where you can't go to sleep holding grudges or / hating someone.

Naw it's no big deal, I'm the one who got my panties in a wad over it haha. Yeah I did find a place, just moved here about 2 weeks ago finally, I'm still looking for work but more than likely will wait until the first of the year to get a full-time position.

 

I have a texting plan on my phone, and I use it from time to time to send short messages when I'm somewhere where I can't really talk or don't want to make a lot of noise (sitting in a doctors office, for example... or when I took classes, etc).

My older son (18 years old), however, must be texting morning, noon and night because he sends at least 1,500 - 2,000 text messages a month.

I did think I was really hip and high tech when I was having a texting conversation with my son during his high school graduation, then his grandmother told me she was also texting him during the ceremony, so I felt far less cool.

 

My stupid cousin texts random crap and not so random crap..You can tell when he's bored cause that's when sends his crappy thoughts...

Plus, he texts in all CAPS...That's ghey...

 

It's annoying calling someone for brief messages.

Text is much easier.

 

I just got into it when I bought my Crackberry a couple of months ago.

Now my girlfriend and I send each other dirty text messages all the time!
