Now we hear the name Steve Spurrier till the end of the year.

Texas defense doesn't tackle well. Offense has no gameplan. SSDD.

    Greg Davis.....

That man is one fricking HORRIBLE offensive coach.

    HORRIBLE !!

He has had Vince Young for 2 full years and that guy still looks lost at the QB position.

Mack is just not as good as Stoops.

How sad is it AD has more rushing yards in his career than Benson in the RRS?

Another 200 yard rusher after bringing in Robinson and Tomey. Mack makes history again as UT's streak of non-shutouts ends after 24 years.

Peterson is scary good. I had started downplaying losing him because I really like Ramonce and our RB recruit this year, but Peterson is at an entirely different level. Oh well...he's there now, and I just hope he wants to make money as soon as possible.

The defense wasn't bad today. Could have been better, but that wasn't the problem. Cedric was the key, and he didn't show up. He continued his disappearing act once again.

Against Oklahoma, Bowling Green can score 24, and Houston can put up 13, but Texas, with Young and Benson, gets shut out?

Odds Greg Davis gets canned: 1:6
Odds Mack Brown gets canned: 4:1 (2:1 if Spurrier is interested)

Another Holiday Bowl. W00t. My dad must be trashing the house right about now. (Guess I should wait to call.) :D

Unless we suffer another loss, we can still get to the BCS.

But the fact that Vince Young looks like he just stepped onto campus for the first day is pathetic.

He panics too quickly, and instinctually runs or lobs the ball to the closest guy in burnt orange... coaching is supposed to fix that.

He has a hitch in his throwing motion which makes his passes horribly off-target... coaching is supposed to fix that.

The Longhorns have no passing game passed 7-yard hitches. No middle vertical threat or deep vertical threat... coaching is supposed to take care of that.

Go ahead and say it RIET...

Vince was better when he first stepped on campus. Seriously, I'm not even that bummed - part of that is the Astros - part of that is that under this regime - this is the kind of result that is probably the best we can hope for.

Keep the score close, and hope something lucky bounces come our way - because we will no longer have an athletic edge, nor will we ever have the coaching edge. It's the way it is.

For a program that has such great tradition, there is zero urgency there, I feel.

I am thankful that DeLoss Dodds isn't the AD at Miami...geez.

$$$$$$$$$$$$. DeLoss is nothing if not a business man - Texas athletics rakes in the money - DeLoss isn't going to change things.

It's times like this I'm glad I like basketball and baseball more than football.

The only reason I haven't slit my wrists is b/c of the Astros.

I don't think I could function right now if it wasn't for this Game 3 win to keep my spirits up

Here's a photo that encapsulates that.

It's a close game. Peterson is MURDERING them. Look at the UT sideline.

    Complete and utter indifference.

At least my UH Coogs put up 13 (which would have won it today) on OU in their crib.

There is no urgency because Mack is a car salesman. He has the guys who call the shots eating out of his hands. The previous coach was the total opposite.

I hope Mack sticks to his guns and makes another ultimatum. Mack has not won with or without Davis. I think accountabililty should start at the top. He will never beat Stoops again just like he could never beat Bowden.

I don't think Texas understands the importance of the RRS to Oklahoma. While Stoops calls it a stepping stone, this game means more than they let on. It is everything to them. They will never overlook us.

    Horns,
Due to family ties I have always been sort of an Aggie by default, but I have to say I felt sorry for y'all today. If your offense, and Davis, could have done anything you win this game going away. I am sick of OU stealing all this Texas talent....now hopefully my Ags won't lose by 77 this year! Right now I just want somebody from the Big XII to put OU in their place (besides KSU). I feel your frustration, but a top 10 ranking is nothing to be ashamed of either...hook 'em (until T+1)
