way to go out on a limb!! had texas lost in the national championship you could have sported that as a "see, i told you so!!"
WRONG! To the rational Texas fans: Losing McCoy was huge, but you guys still put up 42 points! And yet KS lit you guys up for 45. There's no way to attribute this loss solely to the abscence of McCoy. You guys will still have a high ranking to start the season next year.
Texas has not looked like Texas of last year all season ... I'm surprised it took them this long to really be upset. A defense that gives up 45 to K-State does not belong in the national title picture. They definitely have the pieces to succeed though, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them playing in the National Championship game at least once in the next 2 years.
That is what I want to know...he was down a good yard before the marker and then reached forward...... Maybe because UT had no timeouts? I thought in the last 2 minutes that they would review all relevant calls. Good game by K-State, they would lose 9 out of 10 times they played Texas even with Snead, but the 2 fumbles by Selvin and Charles and the blocked punt gave an inferior squad a chance to believe. And Snead needs to go.....the job is McCoys.... DD PS...I never said UT football sucks....I was talking about A&M....but nice try.
Actually, I congratulated K-State on a good game. Apparently, you're not quite so capable of being gracious with a win. Which is supposed to be tougher? (I'm glad you're not a UT fan...if you ran around every week rubbing it in the rest of us Horns fans would never hear the end of it)
I just went back on DVR, it was a good half a yard short and he bounced forward..... Still.....K-state played with way more heart..... UT got what they deserved. DD
I know you congratulated them on it. I can be gracious but when I made that statement in the Louisville-Rytgers thread posters were saying things like "To who?" and instantly after Louisville's loss everybody annointed Texas to be in the BCS title game. I'm not rubbing it just saying I told you so, you're the one who took it the wrong way.
All true. But maybe there will be an article sometime next year criticizing the refs and theorizing on what could have happened ...
